The first time we met, I was terrified;
Hit by familiarity through your eyes.
Don't talk about the age, it's been defied.
Because in the souls are where true love lies.
The overused line, "Age doesn't matter"
Rings through my mind where my thoughts would gather.
They say, "Don't haste, wait a little later".
But when the heart knew, why should I bother?
They've branded it as a whirlwind romance.
And why should I leave anything to chance?
But now, when I give it a backward glance,
No regrets here, when I let my heart dance.
It has been almost a decade since then.
Given the chance, I would do it again.
Our hearts become one, it feels like heaven.
We both know we are each other's haven.
Since you said that it was "love at first sight,"
You've never left me, helped me find the light.
My heart is at ease, you removed the fright.
With you, I see the days are always bright.
Since then I look forward to tomorrow.
Our abode will never welcome sorrow.
We'll go on though the paths become narrow.
When we're lost, we are each other's arrow.
Come my Dear, let's celebrate together.
We are always here for one another.
We know we will look out for each other.
Don't stop looking forward to forever.
