I am here, and you are there.
Aren't we going anywhere?
My sadness won't be over,
Until we are together
The wind is getting colder.
The sun is getting hotter.
The nights are getting longer.
The days are getting shorter.
I hope that when I slumber,
I'll dream that you are closer.
And we’ll burst into laughter.
We'll be happy forever.
I know it won't be longer,
When the days will run faster,
And we will be together;
Happily ever after!
