A JOURNEY ON A THREE-LANE STREET

Here we are, just thinking about it once again;
So uncertain about the things that lie ahead.
Fighting, struggling, praying for our faith to remain,
For when we walked, we were not sure where we were led.

The things we found on the way were too much tempting,
Urging us to stop, "go back," they're so enticing.
But the "SMALL VOICE" within ourselves said, "Keep going."
It's so powerful that we continued walking.

Now we felt like we're in the middle of nowhere.
But we've noticed the light that is getting brighter.
We heard voices behind us saying, "Come back here!"
But the bright light urged us to move even further.

It's been a tough journey, but still, we weren't there.
And as we continue, life keeps getting harder.
The voices' call from our back keeps getting louder.
The Voice within us said, "We're walking together."

And then we remembered that we were not alone.
For there's SOMEONE helping us go through the tough times.
Who's always on our side, giving us PROTECTION.
It is You, oh LORD, Who walks with us all this time.
